Preface

The aim and intention of exploring problems, contradictions in Quran

It is being clarified in discussions about the “miracle of Quran” that one of the signs of this book for being a miracle is lack of any contradiction or difference in its revelations and this miracle is one of the reasons for prophecy of the prophet of Islam, may Allah peace and be upon him and the fact that this book is only send by God and there is no contradiction or disagreement all over it since the condition of dissention of Quran and also the existential aspects of its medium (i.e. prophet of Islam) was so changeable and diverse that if it was not from Allah, the exalted, there would definitely be many contradictions and inconsistency in its sections and matters.

Interestingly Quran has mentioned this fact and miracle in Nesa Surah of 83: “If Quran was not from God, you could find many contradictions in it”.

Problem statement: Human thoughts and mentality change over different periodical and spatial conditions and therefore are influenced by the external factors and in other words different external conditions that change from day to day such as peace or war, success or defeat and briefly situations of prosperity or weakness and need and different periods of scientific deterioration or development can change opinions over time. We can see when a scholar is writing a book which may last for several years; the author views by the end of writings the book may become different from those at the beginning. Moreover people who go through extreme social, political and religious adventures, especially those which become the basis for a comprehensive ideological and social revolution, can not have the same statements over a long period. Especially if they are common and illiterate people and regarding the dark and undeveloped environment of “Jaheliah-ignorance in Saudi Arabia” within which the Prophet was nurtured without having any school or education and the 23 years of dissention of Quran during contradicted conditions.  Not even there is no contradiction in Quran’s revelations but also despite all the scientific developments over the last 14 centuries there is no denial of the contemporary progresses by Quran and even some of these scientific findings and inventions by contemporary scholars have been predicted 1400 year ago in Quran. This lack of difference between revelations with each other or today’s technical facts , considering the illiteracy of the Prophet (may Allah’s blessing and peace be upon him) in uncivilized environment of that time is itself one of the miracles of Quran and an evidence that Quran is sent by God, the exalted, to the Prophet.

As a result, the battle of non-believers with Islam and Quran in the past and during its dissention was in cultural fields and in this area by attempting to find contradictions between revelations of Quran but fortunately the history shows that they all have been disappointed in their aims but unfortunately this pointless effort has been continued until today.

The reasons behind conception of contradictions in Quran

A-Being unaware of the rule of “allegorical -Motashabehat” and “Mohkamat- clear revelations”

According to Expedients of Allah that are mentioned in Quran, some revelations in this book are clear and straightforward (which are called “Mohkamat”) and are the basis and foundations of this book and they help to interpret other complicated revelations which are called “allegorical -Motashabehat”, those that seems very complex because of their high message or other reasons. Therefore “Mohkamat” are so clear that there is no argument about them but “Motashabehat” means those revelations that their various parts have similarities and therefore contain sentences which have complex meanings and raise different presumptions and “Motashaebhat” revelations in Quran are those which initially their meanings seems complex and there are different assumptions about their meaning but can be interpreted clearly based on “Mohkamat” and their complexity can be resolved but people who are not aware of these rules or because of their prejudice or mentality do not want to interpret the “Motashabehat” based on “Mohkamat” and resolve their doubts assume that there are contradictions inside  Quran’s revelations. 

Why some parts of Quran include “Motashabehat” revelations

Some people may ask while Quran is sent to guide all people and thus should be clear and obvious like light and luminosity why there should be “Motashabeh” revelations in Quran which contain complex meaning that give excuse to some misbelievers.

This issue is very important and needs extreme consideration and notice so please pay attention to the following philosophy for the “Allegorical revelations” in Quran:

First of all we all understand that the words and terms that are used in people conversations are to serve their daily demands and therefore as soon as we leave the limited circle of material life and for instance start talking beyond this sphere ……..

In the divine world, when we talk about God which is unlimited in every aspect, we see that our words are unable to cover those meanings and we have to terms that do not provide adequate definition and these in-adequacies of words are the source of most of Motashabehat in Quran. For instance if Quran wants to inform people about the seeing and hearing of the exalted God, it has to use terms that are common among them such as “hearer” and “observer”

And our understandings of these terms are about people who have materialistic eyes and ears while God is not material and if we do not employ these terms the issue of knowing the God will not be achieved and if we use them they may cause doubts and some people to believe there are contradictions” in Quran while if they people were aware of rule of “motashabehat” and “mohkamat” , by referring a “Motashabeh” revelations to “Mohkamat” ones could resolve their doubts since God states in one of the revelations  “There is nothing like Allah”. So we understand that God has no soul like us and does not have ears or eyes similar to us and its hearing and seeing is different from normal creatures.

Secondly an important part of a holly book is related to the metaphysical world which its understanding is beyond our ability without doubt and due to our restriction to the time-space cage we are unable to understand it in depth and on the other hand our familiarization with those high concepts is through the terms that are formed to address meanings in our ordinary world and this create those so called “Motashabehat”. This is similar to when some one wants to explain the complexities of this world to a foetus in the womb. He has to explain these issues otherwise he is considered negligent but when he express them he has to use allegorical language since the listener does not have the ability and capacity to understand all the high concepts.

Thirdly, the reason and philosophy of having “Motashabeh” revelations in Quran is to encourage thinking and developing ideas and scientific and mental changes of human being since God wants to lead all creatures as well as humans to their higher levels of progress and human development need has different ways and one of those solutions for intellectual maturity of human is complex   and thoughtful ideas which have became possible by sending “Mohkamat” and “Motashabeh” revelations and asking people to pay attention to them and the rules that link them. As a result we can see that the idea of having “Mohkamat” and “Motashabehat” revelations is one of the wise regulations of God and was essential but some ignorant people or those fanatics who intentionally deny accepting the truth are looking for “Motashabeh” revelations that contain different meanings in surface so they assume that they have discovered contradictions ion Quran.

Obstacles and barriers, recognition 

Of the aspects that prevent us from discovering the real face of the truth are the “obstacles of wisdom” and this is also relevant to our discussion like some one whose knowledge system has some filters and prevent his wisdom from direct connection with the world. He can not see the real face of Quran and because there are distortions in his knowledge and understanding device while he thinks these deviations are in Quran. Just like some one who wears a sun-glass and see every thing dark or when the glasses are obscured or opaque he see every thing unclear or some one who has Icterus see every thing yellow or what a person with far-sighted eyes observes does not match with the reality and similarly veils and filters in wisdom and spirit are also obstacle for acknowledging the truths such as Quran.

Interestingly Quran itself is aware of this scientific and psychological fact. In an era when there was no knowledge about psychological and psychoanalysis especially in the period of “Jaheliah- ignorance” and illiteracy, Quran reveals 20 different types of barriers and even now with the progress of those disciplines, some of these barriers might be still unknown to the psychologists and psychoanalysts that we list them here as follow:

1- Debauchery, 2-Mammonism, 3-Vanity, 4- Ignorance, 5- hypocrisy, 6-Prejeduce, 7-Blindly imitation, 8-Illogical ambitions, 9-Sins, 10- blasphemy, 11-Violation, 12-Superficiality, 13- Apostasy, 14- Lie and libel, 15-Imagination, 16- Corrupted and misleading leaders, 17-Misleading friends, 18- Propaganda, 19-Environemntal effects, 20- Temptation

در اين فصل بنا دارم در رابطه با جايگاه اعدام در قوانين جزايي تمدن ها مطالبي رو خدمتتون عرض کنم تا با هم ببينيم که ايا معترض چنين حقي داره که با دستمايه قرار دادن حکم اعدام ، اسلام رو مورد حمله قرار بده يا نه
انسان از زماني که زندگي جمعي را تجربه کرد ، خود را در مواردي با حقوق ديگران ، مواجه و رو در رو ديد ، که ممکن بود با برخي از آزادي هاي فردي او در تضاد باشد. و لازمه ي رعايت اين حقوق محدود شدن اميال وخواسته هاي وي بود. اما زندگي جمعي و کلني وار مي توانست براي او منافعي داشته باشد که براي رسيدن به ان ، چشم پوشي از يک سري خواسته ها معقول مي نمود . در اين ميان کساني بودند که از روي حرص و زياده خواهي يا حسادت و بي ايماني ، براي حقوق ديگران ارزش و احترامي قائل نبودند ، و گاهي انچنان عرصه را بر ديگران تنگ مي کردند ، که انها را به مقابله وا ميداشتند ، و لازم مي شد تا با برخوردي شديد و قهري ، مانع تکرار خطاي او شوند . و در اين ميان چيزي مهم تر از حفظ ثبات و پايداري ارکان جامعه و امنيت و سلامت ان نبود . و گاهي اين امنيت و سلامت جز با ستاندن جان فرد ياغي تحقق پيدا نمي کرد.
کسي نميتواند منکر اين واقعيت بشود که ، نفس تنبيه و عقوبت ، از جمله اعدام ، آميخته ي با شدت ، تندي و خشونتي است ، که ذاتا براي انسان ناخوش ايند و نامطلوب است ، اما براي نيل به اهدافي بلند و متعالي ، پذيرش اين امر منطقي به نظر مي ايد . به عبارت ديگر، بشر در طول تاريخ حيات خود ، بالوجدان در يافته است ، که امنيت و سلامت ، به عنوان يکي از ضروري ترين خواسته هاي زندگي اجتماعي وي ، تنها در سايه ي الزامات قانوني و شدت عمل به جا و مناسب ، البته همراه با تعليم و تربيت ، قابل رهيافت و تحقق خواهد بود . و صد البته ، عقلا ، و واضعان قوانين اجتماعي وجزايي دنيا نيز، باعنايت به همين واقعيت ، و با داشتن درکي نسبتاً صحيح اما بسيار کلي و اجمالي از روحيات بشر ( که براي رعايت قواعد بشري و اجتماعي نيازمند به تشويق وبعضا تنبيه است ) تنبيه هايي ( به نسبت ملايم يا سخت ) را متناسب با ساختارهاي اجتماعي خود و به فراخور حال مجرمين و نوع جرم ( از حيث اثر تخريبي ان بر جامعه ) وضع نموده اند . و در اين ميان ، دوهدف عمده ، مهم ترين دغدغه ي فکري بسياري از آنان ، در وضع قوانين جزايي بوده است :

موضوعي که اين بار و در ادامه ي مبحث گذشته ميخوام به اون بپردازم مسئله ي حکم مجازات سرقته که متاسفانه دستمايه ا ي ديگه براي تاختن به اسلام شده
از مسائل بحث بر انگيزي که طي اعصار مختلف ذهن بشر را به خود مشغول نموده معضل دزدي و تعرض به اموال ديگران ميباشد.اگر چه حاکمان بسيار کوشيده اند تا با اين پديده مقابله و ان را مهار نمايند و انديشمندان تلاشها نموده اند تا براي مداواي اين بيماري اجتماعي به درماني نافع نايل شوند با اين حال موفقيت انان در بيشتر موارد بسيا ر ناچيز و يا حد اقل موقتي بوده
برخي در احکام جزايي خود حبس را تنبيهي مهار کننده به حساب اورده اند برخي تازيانه و شکنجه را کار گشا دانسته اند و برخي رسوا نمودن بر سر کوچه بازار و تبعيد و برخي درمان سرقت را اعدام سارق دانسته اند .حتي در برخي کشور هاي به ظاهرمتمدن امروزي به جرم سرقت مالي هر چند ناچيز قانون اين حق را براي صاحب مال محفوظ ميداند که خود اقدام به قتل سارق بنمايد. و در اين ميان حکم اسلام براي مقابله با اين عفونت جامعه قطع دست ميباشد.

والسارق والسارقه فاقطعوا ايديهما جزاء بما کسبا نکلا من الله والله عزيز حکيم (سوره مائده آيه 38)

دست مرد و زن دزد رابه کيفر عملشان ببريد اين عقوبتي است که خدا براي انان مقرر داشته و خدا ( بر هر کاري) مقتدر و( به مصالح خلق ) داناست.

يکي از تهمت هاي ناروا نسبت به اسلام ، خشن جلوه دادن اين آيين آسمانيست، آن هم با دست مايه قرار دادن احکامي تنبيهي که براي دفاع از مظلومان و بي پناهان جامعه يا مهار نفس سر کش انسان هاي فزوني طلب يا دفع شر و فساد آشکارمفسدان وضع گرديده است .
معترض با درج تصويري در وب سايت خود ، مجازات كور شدن ان هم از راه خارج کردن حدقه هاي چشم را به نمايش مي گذارد. صحنه ي بسيار دلخراش و ناراحت کننده اي كه همراه با بيان آه و ناله و التماس هاي محکوم ، احساسات لطيف هر بيننده اي را بر مي انگيزد .
معترض با غير انساني جلوه دادن اين مجازات ، ان را بدوي ، غير متمدن و بر خاسته از تفکري بربر جلوه مي دهد ، اما به اين نکته اشاره نميکند که اين شخص به خاطر چه جرمي محکوم به تحمل چنين مجازات سنگيني گرديده است. شايد اين فرد معترض به خود زحمت نداده که با مراجعه به احکام جزايي اسلام دريابد که مجازات کور کردن فقط و فقط براي قصاص و تلافي عملي مشابه و مجرمانه آن هم از روي عمد در نظر گرفته شده ( و نه کسي که از روي خطا باعث کور شدن کسي گردد ) و اين حقي است که خداوند متعال براي قربانيان جنايت لحاظ فرموده که اگر مورد ظلم و تعدي قرار گرفتند بتوانند در سايه حمايت قانون با مقابله ي به مثل ( فقط در همان حد و نه بيشتر) انتقام خود رااز ظالم بگيرند. البته اين حقي است که ممکن است از سوي فرد مظلوم و به ناحق کور شده مورد عفو و گذشت قرار بگيرد.
آيه ي 45 سوره ي مائده به اين موضوع اشاره ميفرمايد:

وکتبنا عليهم فيها ان النفس بالنفس والعين بالعين والانف بالانف و الاذن بالاذن و السن بالسن

 والجروح قصاص فمن تصدق به فهو کفاره له ومن لم يحکم بما انزل الله فاولئک هم الظلمون .

و( در تورات بر بني اسرائيل) حکم کرديم که نفس را در مقابل نفس قصاص کنند و چشم را در مقابل چشم و بيني را در مقابل بيني وگوش را در مقابل گوش ودندان را در مقابل دندان و هر زخمي را قصاص خواهد بود پس هر گاه کسي به جاي قصاص به صدقه ( و ديه ) راضي شود نيکي کرده و کفاره ي گناهش خواهد شد و هر کس خلاف آنچه خدا فرستاده حکم کند (و از حد قصاص يا ديه تعدي و ظلم کند ) چنين کسي از ظالمان خواهد بود .

شهید علم الهدی چه زیبا می فرماید: ((روزها به فکر سربازان صدر اسلام و حماسه‏هاى آنها مى‏افتم: جنگ بدر، غزوه احد، غزوه خندق، خیبر،تبوک و....آنها چگونه جهاد کردند و ما چگونه مى‏توانیم به آنها نزدیک شویم. در این اندیشه‏ام که قرآن درباره یاران پیامبر سخن مى‏گوید:

((((((((" مُحَمَّدٌ رَسولُ اللّهِ وَ الَّذینَ مَعَهُ أَشِدّاءُ عَلىَ الْکُفّارِ.."
